On Aug.19, a two-year-old South Pittsburg boy was brought to the emergency room at Parkridge West Hospital by a caregiver, according to South Pittsburg Police Chief Robert Simpson.

Metalworking Solutions specializing in sheet metal fabrication of OEM parts, announced last week that they were nearing completion of their equipment and facility expansion initiative, which began implementation last Fall. Over $2.5 million of the initiative is in place and in production. The final phase of equipment should be implemented by the end of summer. The addition to the facility should be completed and operational by Thanksgiving.
